an early poetic eulogy five days before he passed on

beloved, this day you shall not fly alone (updated)

Billy Graham
A famous Christian evangelist who lived for 99 years and is known to perhaps millions in this world died on 21st February 2018 . This poem was written and posted on my Soundmind blog on the 16th of February, (five days before the announced official date of his death) while fasting for Lent.
I didn’t know who it was meant for but I knew it was a conversation between a man and God. And It seemed that the man was leaving this world and God was assuring him not to be afraid. How awesome!

Note on hearing God:
I have been listening to the teaching from Andrew Wommack for over ten years. I have learned how to hear God’s voice from him. I am still learning and practicing. Please read the following article if you are interested. Listen to his free MP3 audio teachings. You will find what you seek. http://www.awmi.net/reading/teaching-articles/gods_voice/

this day I shall not fly alone
with new hope and not forlorn
living
dreaming
planning
parting
leaving behind
my depressed mind
stepping ahead
as my spirit heard you said
do not fear
for I have wiped away your every tear
go forth
as I have come forth
behold
here is My heart
as always of old
ever
never
leave
beloved
you are loved
so deep
so Sweet
this day you will not fly alone
