How to live end time? A brief manual

How to live our end time days? This is today’s question. Now that some Christians know and believe that the Lord is returning soon, how may we live, as apostle Peter had asked. “since everything around us is to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, …but we looking forward to the new heavens and new earth He has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness.” (2 Peter 3:11, 13)
Many hope to be raised before the really difficult times start. Yet many are preparing to face the tough times in case we are not raised at the beginning and may go through the first half or even the entire tribulation.
So, today we ask, what shall I do now to prepare? Let us read God’s words for answers.
1. The fact that Jesus would not leave us alone to feign for ourselves. He has sent His Spirit (the Holy Spirit) to be with us forever. So we have the Holy Spirit to ask any point of time. We can ask God for every decision.
2. Because we are still in the world, God’s words which do not fail will always protect us as God sends His words to heal and deliver and prosper and defend us. We have God’s words which Jesus says, are life and spirit.
3. Because we are not of the world, when all the world is being hit by ‘plagues’ in religion, war (security), economy, sickness and death, we shall be sustained in a specially designated land (field/ground) where God has ensured protection and provision to continue flowing so we may continue to bring people to the salvation of Jesus.
4. What shall we do? Sons of God are led by the Holy Spirit and when we keep focusing on the Lord Jesus Himself, we shall live His mind, His life in us, Wisdom (who is Christ Himself). We shall continue to know what land or field to buy and produce what God’s people need, both physical and spiritual. We shall continue to live in divine healing and health and youthful fitness just as God has promised in His words and which we have already practiced in our years of walking with Jesus, by faith, anchoring in His words and His Spirit.
Action points: pray and ask the Lord where you are now assigned to. What5 land to buy? What gift to use? what to sell and what to buy?  What to start doing and what to stop doing. There is really little time if you still hang on to a lot of baggage. The key words : “SELL ALL’.
AS JESUS IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD.
Your only end time life goal: Testify for Jesus. Bring many to righteousness. Shine like stars.
(To those who are led by the Lord to come and read this post: you know from where all the Bible verses the above brief is drawn. Please read them. )

stay on the safe path of healing

Here is today’s timeless advice for healing and divine health for life. Read the whole chapter of Proverbs four. Here are some of the verses. The key is paying attention to God’s words, listening, reading, copying, remembering them, so that they reach deep into your heart. Claim and proclaim them. Reject the bad reports about your health. stay away from those who repeatedly talk about their symptoms. keep looking at Jesus, who is the only reliable truth about your health. By His wounds you are healed.
20 My child, pay attention to what I say.
    Listen carefully to my words.
21 Don’t lose sight of them.
Let them penetrate deep into your heart,
22 for they bring life to those who find them,
and healing to their whole body.
23 Guard your heart above all else,
for it determines the course of your life.
24 Avoid all perverse talk;
    stay away from corrupt speech.
25 Look straight ahead,
and fix your eyes on what lies before you.
26 Mark out a straight path for your feet;
    stay on the safe path.
27 Don’t get sidetracked;
keep your feet from following evil.

where is the armor of God?

The Lord’s Spirit (through apostle Paul in Ephesians chapter six) urged us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, by putting on the whole armor of God that we may stand against the wiles of the devil (6:10-11).
But where is the key? How do we put on the armor of God? Where is the armor? Here is the answer. The armor is already given. Every piece of it is already yours. Just read the following chapter, listen repeatedly, proclaim, write it down, meditate on it until it is yours in practical terms!

Ephesians 1

New Living Translation (NLT)

Greetings from Paul

This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus.
I am writing to God’s holy people in Ephesus, who are faithful followers of Christ Jesus.
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

Spiritual Blessings

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.
God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure.10 And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. 11 Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan.
12 God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God. 13 And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. 14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

15 Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, 16 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.
19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. 21 Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. 22 God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. 23 And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

comforting words to those who are grieving

This is for you who have lost your loved one(s). I pray you are comforted by the supernatural power of the word of God.

21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

God will wipe away every tear

4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
(Revelation 21 New King James Version (NKJV) All Things Made New)
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4)

End Times crisis management: Abraham's success case

All over the world, people are woken to the fact that crisis and disasters are almost daily affairs. No time in history has there been such increasing intensity and urgency for a preparedness to be built up in every man and woman, every organization, regardless where or who or what we profess to be.
Christians have a manual on hand. The Bible. So I intend to spend sometime starting in this post to read some biblical events and ask that the Lord Holy Spirit to lead us through valuable lessons from the Commander in Chief in heaven Himself in His words. The cases show us principles that we can apply physically, mentally and spiritually.
The first case recorded how Abraham responded successfully to a major life and death crisis of his loved one - nephew Lot and family.
Background:
1. Wars broke out between two interest groups (in those days, of kings)
2. Lot was a 'civilian citizen' or 'resident' of one of the kingdom. His king was defeated.
3. The defeated kingdoms were plundered and Lot too was captured with his family and all he owned.
4. Someone escaped and told Abraham.
Abraham's response:
1. He mobilized his best army whom he had trusted (318 trained men born into his household ). He was always prepared with good and trusted warriors for war like this.
2. He was also prepared with faithful allies (neighbors with whom he had maintained comrade relationship long before the crisis).
3. He was prepared in physical and mental stamina. He pursued until he caught up with the enemy.
4. He divided his men and attacked during the night. He was prepared with a battle strategy that indeed worked and overwhelmed this group of newly victorious invaders.
5. The enemy fled, but he chased them (regardless the distance, the time and length of the war). He was prepared with his battle goal -total and definite casting out of the enemy.
6. He fought until he recovered all that had been taken by the enemy. He did not stop until his final goals are fully accomplished - complete freedom for all the captives and their possessions.
7. Why was Abraham so confident of success? He knew His God. He knew God was on his side. Who can be against him?
Genesis 14
Abram Rescues Lot

New Living Translation (NLT)
14:1 About this time war broke out in the region...
One year later Kedorlaomer and his allies arrived and defeated ...
Then the rebel kings of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and Bela (also called Zoar) prepared for battle ...10 As it happened, the valley of the Dead Sea was filled with tar pits. And as the army of the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some fell into the tar pits, while the rest escaped into the mountains.
11 The victorious invaders then plundered Sodom and Gomorrah and headed for home, taking with them all the spoils of war and the food supplies.
12 They also captured Lot—Abram’s nephew who lived in Sodom—and carried off everything he owned.
13 But one of Lot’s men escaped and reported everything to Abram the Hebrew, who was living near the oak grove belonging to Mamre the Amorite. Mamre and his relatives, Eshcol and Aner, were Abram’s allies.
14 When Abram heard that his nephew Lot had been captured, he mobilized the 318 trained men who had been born into his household. Then he pursued Kedorlaomer’s army until he caught up with them at Dan. 15 There he divided his men and attacked during the night. Kedorlaomer’s army fled, but Abram chased them as far as Hobah, north of Damascus.
16 Abram recovered all the goods that had been taken, and he brought back his nephew Lot with his possessions and all the women and other captives.

grace abounded much more

God’s Much More – Pastor Sandra Kennedy

November 10, 2013       http://view.earthchannel.com/PlayerController.aspx?&PGD=wholelife&eID=32                                                              Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.                                            15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.                                                17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)            20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, 21 so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
