What generation are you in?
Today’s Bible word is GENERATION. The spiritual question is: What generation are you in? There are only two to choose from. Either you are in one or you are in the other. As all are in “this generation”, this question must be answered by all. Tip: choose number 31!

Journey to see God: Patience, comfort, glory, truth, mercy, hope, peace!
See God: See His patience, comfort, glory, truth, mercy, hope, and peace.
Be comforted with this powerful promise: And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly!
Romans 15-16 (NKJV)
15 We then
who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not
to please ourselves. 2 Let each of us please his neighbor
for his good, leading to edification. 3 For
even Christ did
not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of
those who reproached You fell on Me.” 4 For whatever
things were written before were written for our learning, that we
through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have
hope. 5 Now may the God of
patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded
toward one another, according to Christ
Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind
and one mouth glorify the God and
Father of our Lord
.
7 Therefore
receive one another, just as Christ also
received us, to the glory of God. 8 Now
I say that has become a servant to the circumcision
for the truth of God,
to confirm the promises made to the fathers, 9 and
that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as
it is written:
“For this
reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your
name.”
10 And
again he says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!”
11 And
again: “Praise the Lord,
all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!”
12 And
again, Isaiah says: “There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who
shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall
hope.”
13 Now may
the God of
hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that
you may abound in hope by the
power of the Holy Spirit.
14 Now I
myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are
full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish
one another. 15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more
boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of
the grace given to me by God, 16 that
I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to
the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God,
that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by
the Holy
Spirit.17 Therefore
I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus
in the things which
pertain to God. 18 For
I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has
not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles
obedient—19 in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the
Spirit
of God,
so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully
preached the gospel of Christ. 20 And
so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was
named, lest I should build on another man’s foundation, 21 but
as it is written:
“To whom He
was not announced, they shall see;
And those who
have not heard shall understand.”
22 For this
reason I also have been much hindered from coming to you. 23 But
now no longer having a place in these parts, and having a great
desire these many years to come to you, 24 whenever I
journey to Spain, I shall come to you. For I hope to see you on my
journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may
enjoy your company for a while. 25 But now I am
going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints. 26 For it
pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain
contribution for the poor among the saints who are in
Jerusalem. 27 It pleased them indeed, and they are their
debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their
spiritual
things, their duty is also to minister to them in
material things. 28 Therefore, when I have performed this
and have sealed to them this fruit, I shall go by way of you to
Spain. 29 But I know that when I come to you, I shall
come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
30 Now I
beg you, brethren, through the Lord
, and through the love of the Spirit,
that you strive together with me in prayers to God for
me, 31 that I may be delivered from those in Judea who do
not believe, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to
the saints, 32 that I may come to you with joy by the
will of God,
and may be refreshed together with you. 33 Now the God of
peace be with you all. Amen.
16 I
commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a servant of the church in
Cenchrea, 2 that you may receive her in the Lord in
a manner worthy of the saints, and assist her in whatever business
she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of
myself also.
3 Greet
Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, 4 who
risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks,
but also all the churches of the Gentiles. 5 Likewise greet the
church that is in their house.
Greet my beloved
Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia to Christ. 6 Greet
Mary, who labored much for us. 7 Greet Andronicus and
Junia, my countrymen and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among
the apostles, who also were in Christ before
me.
8 Greet
Amplias, my beloved in the Lord. 9 Greet
Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ,
and Stachys, my beloved.10 Greet Apelles, approved in Christ.
Greet those who are of the household of
Aristobulus. 11 Greet Herodion, my countryman. Greet
those who are of the household of Narcissus who are in
the Lord.
12 Greet
Tryphena and Tryphosa, who have labored in the Lord.
Greet the beloved Persis, who labored much in the Lord.13 Greet
Rufus, chosen in the Lord,
and his mother and mine. 14 Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon,
Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren who are with
them. 15 Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister,
and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.
16 Greet
one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ greet
you.
17 Now I
urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses,
contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For
those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ,
but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech
deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For your obedience has
become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want
you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. 20 And
the God
of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.
The grace of
our Lord
Jesus Christ be with
you. Amen.
21 Timothy,
my fellow worker, and Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my countrymen,
greet you.
22 I,
Tertius, who wrote this epistle, greet you in the Lord.
23 Gaius,
my host and the host of the whole church, greets you.
Erastus, the treasurer of the city, greets you, and Quartus, a
brother. 24 The grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ be with
you all. Amen.
25 Now to
Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the
preaching of Jesus Christ,
according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the
world began 26 but now made manifest, and by the prophetic
Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the
commandment of the everlasting God, for
obedience to the faith— 27 to God,
alone wise, be glory through forever Amen.
Walk with Jesus: Matthew 28 – another war between kingdoms has started. You are recruited.
Matthew 28 is a new beginning, a new war between two kingdoms has started. The kingdom of God versus the kingdom of darkness. There is no third path. Either you are in the kingdom of light or you are in the kingdom of darkness. Everyone on earth is given one choice. No in-between. Heed the warning from the resurrected Jesus through John in the book of Revelation to the seven churches (representing all churches through out the history since the first church was established during the apostles’ time.
Matthew 28 (ESV)
The Resurrection Truth – the Truth will set you free!
28 Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. 4 And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. 5 But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.” 8 So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”
More human deception and strategy (with Satan, the ruler of this world, directly in command) for those who choose to remain in blindness (due to unbelief and spiritual rebellion)
11 While they were going, behold, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had taken place.12 And when they had assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers 13 and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14 And if this comes tothe governor’s ears, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” 15 So they took the money and did as they were directed. And this story has been spread among the Jews to this day.
The Great Commission for Kingdom of God Citizens, sons of God led by the Holy Spirit, with the authority of Jesus, in His name, and His might, the power of the Holy Spirit!
16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
________________________________________A new war has started between two Kingdoms:
KINGDOM OF GOD – KINGDOM OF LIGHT
John 18:36 (NKJV)
36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
John 17:14-18 (NKJV)
14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
Mark 16:15-20 (NKJV)
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
1 John 2:15-20 (NKJV)
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. 20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 (NKJV)
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
1 John 3:8 (NKJV)
8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
Kingdom of darkness
John 14:30 (NKJV) 30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.
Luke 22:53 (NKJV) 53 When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
What will happen at the end of time of this world
Revelation 20:10 (NKJV)
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are.And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Journey to see God: Romans 14 -neither to give offence nor be snared by offence
Today's Romans message is on how not to offend our weaker brethren in Christ and not to be offended ourselves. taking offence can even cause a person not to enter the Kingdom of God, as in the case described in Mark 6 and John 6. Many left Jesus because they took offence. Some were even among His disciples.
Romans 14
Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 As for the man who is a weak believer, welcome him [into your fellowship], but not to criticize his opinions or pass judgment on his scruples or perplex him with discussions.
2 One [man’s faith permits him to] believe he may eat anything, while a weaker one [limits his] eating to vegetables.
3 Let not him who eats look down on or despise him who abstains, and let not him who abstains criticize and pass judgment on him who eats; for God has accepted and welcomed him.
4 Who are you to pass judgment on and censure another’s household servant? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he shall stand and be upheld, for the Master (the Lord) is mighty to support him and make him stand.
5 One man esteems one day as better than another, while another man esteems all days alike [sacred]. Let everyone be fully convinced (satisfied) in his own mind.
6 He who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. He also who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; while he who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.
7 None of us lives to himself [but to the Lord], and none of us dies to himself [but to the Lord, for]
8 If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or we die, we belong to the Lord.
9 For Christ died and lived again for this very purpose, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
10 Why do you criticize and pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you look down upon or despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God.
11 For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God [acknowledge Him to His honor and to His praise].(A)
12 And so each of us shall give an account of himself [give an answer in reference to judgment] to God.
13 Then let us no more criticize and blame and pass judgment on one another, but rather decide and endeavor never to put a stumbling block or an obstacle or a hindrance in the way of a brother.
14 I know and am convinced (persuaded) as one in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is [forbidden as] essentially unclean (defiled and unholy in itself). But [none the less] it is unclean (defiled and unholy) to anyone who thinks it is unclean.
15 But if your brother is being pained or his feelings hurt or if he is being injured by what you eat, [then] you are no longer walking in love. [You have ceased to be living and conducting yourself by the standard of love toward him.] Do not let what you eat hurt or cause the ruin of one for whom Christ died!
16 Do not therefore let what seems good to you be considered an evil thing [by someone else]. [In other words, do not give occasion for others to criticize that which is justifiable for you.]
17 [After all] the kingdom of God is not a matter of [getting the] food and drink [one likes], but instead it is righteousness (that state which makes a person acceptable to God) and [heart] peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
18 He who serves Christ in this way is acceptable and pleasing to God and is approved by men.
19 So let us then definitely aim for and eagerly pursue what makes for harmony and for mutual upbuilding (edification and development) of one another.
20 You must not, for the sake of food, undo and break down and destroy the work of God! Everything is indeed [ceremonially] clean and pure, but it is wrong for anyone to hurt the conscience of others or to make them fall by what he eats.
21 The right thing is to eat no meat or drink no wine [at all], or [do anything else] if it makes your brother stumble or hurts his conscience or offends or weakens him.
22 Your personal convictions [on such matters]—exercise [them] as in God’s presence, keeping them to yourself [striving only to know the truth and obey His will]. Blessed (happy, [a]to be envied) is he who has no reason to judge himself for what he approves [who does not convict himself by what he chooses to do].
23 But the man who has doubts (misgivings, an uneasy conscience) about eating, and then eats [perhaps because of you], stands condemned [before God], because he is not true to his convictions and he does not act from faith. For whatever does not originate and proceed from faith is sin [whatever is done without a conviction of its approval by God is sinful].

Journey to see God: Romans 13 - all about who pays dues to whom
Today's message requires broader look through
what Jesus Himself had directly spoken. The issues of authority and
due: Today's Christians live in a faithless and perverse generation
(Matthew 17:17), where lawlessness abound (Matthew 24:12). How to
apply the ordinances of the Kingdom of God in a godless world?
Jesus spoke on the subject. Take heed what He
has said and be discerning spiritually. The only authority is God.
Satan is the ruler of this world (until he is removed at the end)
John
14:30 I
will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of
this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.
The
rulers of the world do not believe in Jesus Christ; they sneered at
Him and crucified Him. They will do the same to those who follow
Jesus to the end
Luke
23:35 And
the people stood looking on. But even the rulers
with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself
if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.”
Luke
24:20 and
how the chief priests and our rulers
delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him.
Luke
21:12 But before all these things, they
will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up
to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings
and rulers for My name’s sake.

read Romans 13
Romans 13 is
all about dues: to the rulers, between citizens, and dues to self, as
the citizens of the Kingdom of God, yet living in a physical human
world. Rulers pay dues too -to the ultimate authority, God.
God is the
final Judge. The Lord Jesus Christ will come again to Judge the
secrets of men, the living and the dead. (2 Timothy 4:1; Romans 2:16)
Romans

Governing authorities – receive dues
for appointment
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing
authorities. For there is no authority except from God,
and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore
whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God,
and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For
rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want
to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have
praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s
minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he
does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an
avenger to execute wrath on him who
practices evil. 5 Therefore you must
be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’
sake.6 For because
of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers
attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render
therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are
due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to
whom honor.
(Note the definition of qualified 'rulers/authorities' - appointed by God, keep the ordinances of God, not a terror to good works, minister to God's people for good, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. )
Love is a due
8 Owe
no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another
has fulfilled the law. 9 For
the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You
shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear
false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there
is any other
commandment, are all summed
up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as
yourself.” 10 Love
does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the
fulfillment of the law.
(Love one another is the only dues payable between citizens of the Kingdom of God!)
Make sure you receive your due!
11 And do this,
knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake
out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than
when we first believed. 12 The
night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the
works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let
us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not
in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But
put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh,
to fulfill its lusts.
(Citizens of the Kingdom of God also receive dues: Each has received Jesus Christ, and is entitled to put on Him, become the righteousness of God!)
They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” And He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
